I have the honour to informYour/that I have
appointed Mr. Stanley Hudson Dodwell with effect from
the 26th March, 1941, provisionally, and subject to
His Majesty's pleasure, to be an Unofficial Member of
the Executive Council of the Colony in place of Sir H.E.
Pollock, Kt., who has tendered his resignation on leaving
the Colony.

Mr. Dodwell is an Unofficial Member of the
Legislative Council and in this connection I would invite
your attention to the correspondence ending with the late Lord Lloyd's despatch No. 4 of the 7th January, 1940 1941
I enclose a copy of the provisional instrument
for this appointment.

In accordance with Colonial Regulation No. 155
I enclose also a list of the present members of the
Executive Council.
